We were able to visit Bombay Hook NWR in Smyrna, DE again this past weekend and there were large numbers of shorebirds as well as other migrants (please see the photos with green captions.)

We also visited Bombay Hook last June (see photos with red captions) when there were also lots of shorebirds, e.g. Short-billed Dowitchers, Least Sandpipers, American Avocets, Yellowlegs and Egrets, etc.

Please click on either the thumbnails or the captions to see a larger image...thanks!
