Thomas Ford-Hutchinson and I did a ten hour “photo” day today at E.B. Forsythe NWR (Brigantine) in Absecon, NJ. Lots of birds; lots of sun and the tides were right. Although, we did not see the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher again today, the highlight for us were the fifteen + different Clapper Rails.
We've revisited Brigantine three times in the past couple of weeks and the Clapper Rails were still in abundance. I've updated this webpage with photos taken yesterday(green captions.)
Please click on either the thumbnails or the captions to see a larger image...thanks!
