Photo Study Of Birds At E.B. Forsythe NWR (Brigantine) April 30th, 2011

Ed Norman and I were able to spend a good part of the day yesterday at Brig. While most of the waterfowl have moved on,  there were hundreds of newly arriving Willets and
Terns who, by the way, put on quite a show. Also, a juvenile Red-tailed Hawk, with very little fear of photographers and birders, continues to hang out between the Nature Center
and Gull Tower delighting the visitors. We watched it nail a mouse and someone reported seeing it catch and eat a Clapper Rail near the Eco Boardwalk later in the day
so obviously it is feeding and fully capable of taking care of itself.
