Photo Study Of Birds At E.B.Forsythe NWR (Brigantine) And Bombay Hook NWR, August 26-27th, 2010

We were able to get to Brig on Thursday afternoon and Bombay Hook on Friday morning this week. There were not as many birds as last week in either Refuge because the high pressure system gave the migrants a chance to move on. In any event, the bright sunshine made for some neat photo ops. A Peregrine Falcon made five passes over about a thousand shorebirds at Port Mahon Ditch in Delaware and with that the shorebirds were gone!
