Photo Study Of Some Birds In The New Jersey Pine Barrens And E.B.Forsythe NWR (Brigantine), June 25th, 2010

We were able to get to Brig yesterday and saw lots of birds, especially 8 different Clapper Rails (
Rallus longirostris). But on the way over, in the Pine Barrens, we were able to see and photograph Red-headed Woodpeckers (Melanerpes erythrocephalus) and a male Summer Tanager (Piranga rubra).
