Study Of Birds At E.B. Forsythe NWR (Brig), September 1st, 2011
Brig was loaded with birds yesterday but unfortunately
the tide was high most of the day which kept many of them too far out for us
picture
takers. Nevertheless, while I couldn't photograph
the American Avocet, the juvenile White Ibis, the Sora and the Black Terns,
I was able to get a
bunch of the others. There
were hundreds of juvenile Forster's Terns and Snowy Egrets throughout the
Refuge, which more than made up for it.
