“Gender Bias” is insidious. Women still can't get equal pay for equal jobs. A recent survey disclosed that German men rated their cars higher on their “Values List” than either wives or girlfriends.

                   This poem is intended to poke fun at the sexes, however, not at the sexism!

           It’s Not Quite A Man’s World!

           Won’t eat real Quiche, this great Pretender,
           Our TV-Remote Apprehender;
           In Fantasy, World Class Contender,
           Crass Sports Voyeur, e'er Couch Defender;
           Lest Weekend Heroes abide Gender,
           Quest where, when lost, ne’er, Pride, surrender!

           As Matters of Fair Heart do render,
           Brave, gen’rous Guy, last big-time Spender;
           Best buy Bouquets, Bonbons to send her,
           Forgives his Bride each Fender Bender;
           Then with Panache, pens Poems so tender,
           Takes out the Trash in loving Splendor!
