Photo Study Of Some Birds At Brig, Tuckerton and Barnegat, October 21st, 2011

    We were able to get to E.B. Forsythe NWR, Tuckerton Marsh and Barnegat Light yesterday. Brigantine had two out of the three musts for
    birding picture takers, i.e., bright sunshine and low tide. Would you believe, despite the great conditions, we only saw one shorebird, a very lonely
    Greater Yellowlegs. There were lots of Yellow-rumped Warblers on the modified cones (berries) of the Red Cedars. Tuckerton Marsh had a
    flock of 150 Black-bellied Plovers and another of about sixty Greater Yellowlegs. Barnegat had its fair share of Yellow-rumped Warblers too but
    a bathing Ruddy Turnstone was my photo op of the day. In any event, here are some of the pictures:
