Photo Study Of
Red-tailed and Red-shouldered Hawks At Nockamixon State Park, March 4th, 2010
Rte 563 runs through Nockamixon State Park in Bucks County. Many of us have started to call this road, "Hawk Alley"! Today on my way to Oberly Road WMA in Alpha, NJ, I drove along Hawk Alley and saw five hawks, one adult and one juvenile Red-tail (Buteo jamaicensis) and one adult and two juvenile Red-shouldered (Buteo lineatus) sunning themselves in the trees.
