Some Birds For A Rainy Day (s)
Because of the never-ending downpour,
I have been
locked up in the house with two women, two dogs and a three year old for the past
few days.
So out of sheer desperation, I
finally had to go out and brave the deluge. Risking life and limb, I drove to Peace Valley Park
and entered the
Nature Center Bird Blind for a very
much deserved diversion. I got every one of these delightful birds
during what alliteratively would definitely
have
been just one more drippy, damp, dark, dingy, drab, dull, dismal, dreary, doubtful,
dire, decidedly despicable, damn disgusting,
dreadfully
debilitating, disconcerting, disturbing, disastrous, dangerously
dementing, deranging, demoralizing, drowsy, depressingly
difficult,
distressingly
dazed, dawdling,
droning, destructive, drenching, drowning, disagreeably dank, do-nothing
day, and all the while deftly dilly-dallying, dutifully
determined, to keep trying to delay
and/or debar those
deadly doldrums which otherwise could have resulted in destiny dooming
me to daily
dozing directly in front of the TV set instead of my druthers
of deliberately doing diddly-squat!
