Some Birds Of Spring During The Last Week In April 2009 In Bucks County, PA

During the past few days the warm weather (and, of course, the rites of Spring) have sent most of our Winter visitors, the Crossbills, Pine Siskins and Purple Finches up north. However, we have also seen the arrival of lots of Goldfinches, Robins, Brown Thrashers, Warblers and one of my personal favorites, the Rose-breasted Grosbeak.

Most of these photos were taken at Peace Valley Park in Bucks County, PA over the past few days either in the Nature Center Bird Blind or nearby. Two exceptions are the Northern Parula and Yellow-throated Warbler which were at Bull Island last Sunday.

Also, the following photos are proof that there are more things to see than just birds in Peace Valley Park.
