The first image is of an Atlantic Salmon that was lovingly released back into the Miramichi River. The second picture is a view of the Restigouche River eastward between Quebec and New Brunswick. The third image shows the fall colors across the river from Ted William's camp on the Main South West Branch of the Miramichi. The fourth picture is the Cannes River, a tributary of the Miramichi. The fifth picture is a fall scene on the Matapedia near where it enters the Restigouche. The sixth image shows a pair of Atlantic Salmon, on a spawning run, swimming up the Miramichi River near the Quarryville Bridge. The fly is the classic Canadian Hairwing Salmon pattern, the Rusty Rat. In any event, the beautiful Canadian rivers, the colored leaves of Fall, the returning Salmon and the comradery of a dedicated group of fly-fishers all combine for an unforgettable experience.

Migration
Clear Rivers, cold, flow wildly free,
So silvered Smolt, go out to Sea;
What lies ahead's pure Mystery,
Unsafe, unsure; no Guarantee!
Though Fish swim back, to spawn and die,
Near Place of Birth; their last Good-bye,
We’ll never know, the Reason Why,
The Salmon rises to the Fly?
