Follow the Leader

                    Politicians, disrespected,
                    With Agendas undetected,
                    Motives moot, oft misdirected,
                    Lie and cheat to get elected;
                    They who buy it, as suspected,
                    Have their Senses disconnected!

                    Bold Rhetoric’s so well-preserved,
                    Though Campaign Funds flow unreserved,
                    Old Promises go unobserved;
                    Our Taxes grow; we’re all unnerved,
                    The Public's Needs are never served;
                    We truly got what we deserved!
